job description
We are looking for talented people to join our Support group, a development organization building our in-house customer service tools. We work on topics such as support chat, operational tools for support agents, self-service and automation. We see a huge opportunity to apply machine learning and AI in this space, and are currently expanding our data science team.
We are looking for someone to work in cross-functional development teams where Data Scientists collaborate with engineers, designers, product and analytics professionals with end-to-end ownership of their discipline and domain. You will contribute to projects that have a measurable impact on the business, own the data science part of the solution and work across the entire lifecycle of the development process, from ideation to deployment and maintenance.
Potential work topics range from leveraging the latest AI technologies to developing co-pilot tools for support agents and AI assistants for customers, to tackling more traditional machine learning and optimization problems.
📍This role can be based in one of our tech hubs – Helsinki, Berlin or Stockholm – or work remotely from anywhere in Finland, Sweden or Germany.
Qualifications

Experience building Data Science, Machine Learning and AI solutions with measurable impact. Understands how to build data products and has a deep focus on end user experience.

We also understand what it takes to build production-grade ML and AI solutions: we have experience with real-time applications and large-scale deployments, and we can handle the full lifecycle of a data science solution, from ideation to maintenance.

Deep understanding and experience in Machine Learning and AI, solid understanding of statistics, experience and knowledge of NLP. Experience working as part of an engineering team building solutions to complex problems with large scale and real-time requirements.

Interest in LLM and GenAI and their applications to problem solving in production.

Compensation is a negotiable combination of monthly salary and DoorDash RSUs, the latter of which means you also own a share of the profits, giving you great satisfaction in our growth and strong performance.
