A quick snapshot…

Conga is seeking an experienced and accomplished VP of Product and Portfolio Marketing to execute the go-to-market strategy that will drive long-term growth for the company. In this role, you will work cross-functionally with Product Management, Sales, CTO Office, and the Marketing organization to plan, execute, and measure audience- and product-focused go-to-market activities across product areas and industries, all in support of Conga’s market leadership position in revenue lifecycle management. The portfolio will cover multiple analyst-defined categories and serve buyers and budgets across sectors worldwide. Additionally, this role will also include leading the Competitive Intelligence team.

This role will be critical to driving the marketing strategy and capitalizing on market opportunities while strengthening product positioning and messaging. You will act as a strategic conduit between sales and the product team to deliver a clear, consistent and differentiated value proposition to the target market.

Oversee, lead and develop a world class Product and Portfolio Marketing organization where PMMs are valued cross-functional collaborators. Partner with Product Management and field organizations to develop compelling marketing strategies and market-driven positioning for key audiences, existing products and new products, and develop product roadmaps based on market and customer insights.

Here’s what will give you an edge…

Proven Management: He has 15+ years of experience in product marketing with a focus on overseeing go-to-market strategies and competitive intelligence, as well as 7+ years of experience managing teams in B2B SAAS.

Enterprise Experience: Experience running an enterprise product marketing team with a strong understanding of enterprise buying cycles, product management lifecycle, sales methodologies and pipeline generation strategies.

Strategic Vision: Ability to effectively present vision, positioning, differentiators, strengths, vertical market value proposition and market trends to C+E level audiences.

Cross-functional collaboration: Excellent collaboration skills across all levels and functions to effectively deliver results, coordinate across boundaries, and launch new programs.

Analytical and creative problem solving: You combine strong reasoning skills with creative problem-solving abilities to identify strategic differentiators and incorporate them into marketing assets and on-site content.

Customer-centric approach: Gain a clear understanding of marketing nuances across vertical markets, regions and government sectors, and incorporate key messaging into your persona-based sales strategy.

Innovative thinking: Actively researches new tactics and finds new ways to improve the effectiveness of marketing strategies and campaigns.

Expert Relationship Builders: You genuinely enjoy relationship building and have a proven track record of productive engagement with analysts, customers and influencers.

Clear communication: Expresses clearly and concisely in speaking and writing to ensure messages are received and understood. Participates in collaborative discussions and regularly initiates debates.

Process-driven: Empower your team to be customer-centric and tell clear, concise stories through text and visuals.

Adaptability: Understand the nuances of marketing across different vertical markets, regions and government sectors and incorporate key messaging into your persona-based sales strategy.

education: Advanced degree or MBA preferred.

Below is the U.S. base salary range for this full-time position. Within the range, individual salaries will depend on the skills, experience and relevant education or training associated with the job. In addition to base salary, Conganiers will receive a wide range of benefits, including a variable incentive pay component, perks such as flexible work options, and medical and dental insurance.

The posted salary range is the expectation stated in the job description. We welcome talent from a wide range of backgrounds and may have flexibility to increase or decrease role responsibilities within our organizational structure if we select a candidate who is less or more experienced than the posted job requirements. In these cases, we will communicate the revised salary range to the candidate during the selection process.

US base salary range:
