Overview Of Role: 

We’re a fully remote web development agency looking for a part-time contract Adobe Experience Manager Developer. The ideal candidate will have an attention to detail, love to develop interactive and engaging web experiences, develop clean code, and will be an Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) subject matter expert.

Responsibilities:

  1. Execute – Be able to take visual designs and written specifications and turn those into semantic html/css/js that is reusable, scalable, performant, accessible and work on all major browsers. Ability to setup and configure AEM development environments, AEM author and publish instances, dispatcher.
  2. Make it move – We love to create experiences on our pages. We leverage CSS and JavaScript animation to make our pages come alive.
  3. Components – Be able to create reusable blocks that allow clients and product team to enter content and customize the components.
  4. Reuse – Design and develop highly scalable, integrated and high-performing AEM solutions. Develop a reusable component/block library for AEM that is reusable across client projects

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience as an Adobe Experience Manager Developer.
  • Experience in AEM Sites, AEM Assets, Brand Portal, and Dynamic Media.
  • Expertise of Adobe Experience Manager v6.5, AEM as a Cloud Service and understanding Cloud Manager.
  • Good exposure of working with ClientLibs, Java Content Repository (API), Sling Web Framework and Apache Felix OSGi framework.
  • Experience with the setup and configuration of AEM development environments, AEM author and publish instances, dispatcher.
  • Experience with adjusting WAF and cache settings for a secure and performant site.
  • Strong understanding of HTML and CSS including cross-browser compatibility and performance.
  • Ability to write modern and performant JavaScript using latest technologies.
  • We expect you to know your way around git and Github
  • Experience with front-end building tools (such as Webpack).
  • Experience working remotely.
  • Comfortable interpreting designs and/or specifications and thinking through the best approach to adapting it to code.
  • A solid understanding of good UX and UI practices for websites.
  • Familiarity with Sketch, Figma, and Adobe XD.
  • Experience working with component systems.
  • Estimating work for a project and taking specs and turning into clearly defined, executable tasks.
