I. Job Summary | Major goals and objectives.
As Dotdash Meredith’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Director, you will support the VP, Talent Development & Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in delivering key DE&I strategies and programs. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for overseeing initiatives and partnering across the company to cultivate and support a workplace culture of inclusion and engagement. The incumbent will also be responsible for building relationships with external partners to grow a pipeline of candidates from underrepresented backgrounds. Additionally, you will assist in the development and administration of DE&I training, workshops and special events, as well as track, analyze and report on essential diversity metrics.
II. Essential Job Functions |Accountabilities, Actions and Expected Measurable Results

Implementation and support of DE&I programs for employees and brands across all locations and businesses.

Advocate for employees and strive for increased employee belonging, engagement, and retention.

Develop a comprehensive DEI strategy aligned with the organization’s goals and values. Continuously assess and refine the strategy to drive meaningful change.

Lead the implementation of DEI programs and initiatives, including training, workshops, mentorship programs, employee resource groups, and diversity recruiting efforts.

Develop and deliver DEI training programs for employees at all levels to raise awareness, build cultural competence, and foster an inclusive environment.

Collect and analyze demographic data, employee feedback, and other metrics to assess the organization’s DEI efforts and identify areas for improvement.

Build relationships with external organizations, community groups, and stakeholders to support DEI initiatives and contribute to broader diversity and inclusion efforts.

Provide guidance and support to senior leadership and managers to integrate DEI principles into decision-making processes, leadership development programs, and team dynamics.

Serve as a resource for employees providing support, guidance, and conflict resolution assistance as needed.

Develop internal and external communications to promote DEI initiatives, celebrate diversity, and communicate progress and achievements to stakeholders.
III. Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements | All must be met to be considered.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field or equivalent training and/or experience.
Experience: Proven experience in diversity, equity, and inclusion, with a minimum of 5 – 7 years in a leadership role.

Deep understanding of DEI principles, best practices, and current trends.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data related to diversity and inclusion.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.

Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing DEI programs and initiatives.

Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and drive change at both strategic and tactical levels.
