Job Description

Navan is looking for a G&A Recruiter to come in and help recruit and scale our north american teams. You will play a key role in partnering across the business on the best hiring, interviewing, and closing strategies. You will help curate best in class recruiting strategies with a focus on candidate experience at all stages of the recruitment cycle. This person will be a key member of the team focused on hiring top talent into the company while also managing ad hoc projects.

The ideal candidate has a strong ‘figure it out’ mentality, thrives within ambiguity and is eager to take on challenges that come their way in a fast growing organization. 

This role will be based out of our San Francisco or Palo Alto offices and required in-office 3x a week. 

What You’ll Do:

  • Manage full cycle recruiting process: source, engage, evaluate and close top candidates.
  • Demonstrated experience sourcing and maintaining a pipeline of passive candidates
  • Be a thought partner to executives and stakeholders to develop strategies, make critical decisions, and drive creative approaches for recruiting top talent across the company
  • Act as an advocate for both hiring managers and candidates; establish regular touch points and maintain thorough follow through
  • Design and own recruiting projects and initiatives to improve current processes
  • Work closely with interview teams to create an exceptional candidate interview process and experience

What We’re Looking For:

  • 3-4+ years of recruiting in a fast-paced, high growth environment
  • Experience at a start-up or in a scrappy, fast-moving culture is a must
  • Team player with a we vs. I mentality 
  • Strong focus on client and candidate experience, excellent negotiation and closing skills, and comfort navigating ambiguity.
  • Proven ability to effectively collaborate and influence senior business leaders
  • Proficiency with using an ATS. Greenhouse is a major plus!
  • Stellar written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and high sense of urgency
  • Experience working in a data-driven environment with the ability to track and understand key metrics (conversion rates, etc)
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred

The posted pay range represents the anticipated low and high end of the compensation for this position and is subject to change based on business need. To determine a successful candidate’s starting pay, we carefully consider a variety of factors, including primary work location, an evaluation of the candidate’s skills and experience, market demands, and internal parity.
For roles with on-target-earnings (OTE), the pay range includes both base salary and target incentive compensation. Target incentive compensation for some roles may include a ramping draw period. Compensation is higher for those who exceed targets. Candidates may receive more information from the recruiter.
