In this position, you will bring your development engineering background to a systems engineering role where you can make a broad impact to engineering projects that are critical to our customers. Essential Functions: Technical point of contact for the customer. Brief leadership on technical status. Provide guidance and direction to Electrical, Mechanical, Software, and Firmware designers to ensure the success of the design. Designing test sets for environmental stress screening (ESS) Ensure the system meets requirements as designed by the customer Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience. 7 years experience in electrical, mechanical, or embedded firmware/software engineering detailed design of custom electronic subsystems Experience with requirements management, deriving requirements, & creating requirements test verification matrices Experience designing test sets for environmental stress screening (ESS) Systems Integration and Test experience Experience with DOORs or equivalent requirements management tool Active Secret Security clearance Preferred Additional Skills: Bachelor’s degree in electrical, mechanical, or similar engineering discipline Master’s degree in systems, electrical, or similar engineering discipline Experience developing technical or cost proposals in a defense contracting environment Experience with earned value management systems for measuring program performance Strong communication and leadership skills
