Job Description

FCP Euro is seeking a skilled and driven SEM Manager to join our team. As the SEM Manager, you will oversee the Paid Search initiatives with direct P&L accountability to achieve search-attributed CAC, New Customer, Revenue & Contribution Profit targets. Being the subject matter expert, you will continuously mature FCP Euro’s ability to reach & convert our target audience via Paid Search.

Job Summary
Key responsibilities include traffic planning and investment allocation, capability development across Paid & Organic search, and search analytics & data infrastructure development. This role will be hands-on, executing on the day-to-day management of the program, including but limited to platform optimization, reporting, etc. As this role evolves, there will be an opportunity to build a team as well.
This role is also highly cross-functional, and you will work closely with leaders across technology, content, and product teams to achieve desired outcomes. This role will be expected to provide transparent and detailed insight into search performance, facilitating strategic planning for quarterly and annual search targets, and guiding overall strategies to achieve our objectives.
The perfect candidate has significant experience generating results in a high-growth eCommerce environment and will have experience managing high-traffic / high SKU count sites. They will have deep technical experience with Paid Search, Marketing Data & Analytics, and Organic Search as a plus. They will be equally excited to build a performance-driven program in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment as they will be rolling up their sleeves to drive day-by-day results. 
Responsibilities and Duties

  • Drive SEM performance improvements in CAC, New Customer, Revenue, and Contribution Profit targets
  • Test new tactics and strategies to unlock growth and efficiency
  • Optimize budget allocations towards best overall returns
  • Increase FCP Euro Share of Search in target markets with increasing efficiency
  • Managing account structure and identifying opportunities to tap into performance signals more effectively
  • Manage market keyword & penetration strategy across SEM
  • Deliver and refine reports on performance across search channels, execution against strategy, and upcoming targets
  • Drive cross-functional relationships to align marketing efforts with company goals
  • Provide business with strategic insight into the shifting consumer search landscape including risks, opportunities, and competitive landscape

Qualifications
 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Data Science, or related field. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in senior SEM roles within the eCommerce sector, managing large budgets at scale
  • Proven track record of accomplishing high levels of search revenue, traffic, new customers or similar performance
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • High-level of technical marketing expertise, not limited to but including SEM, SEO, marketing analytics, data infrastructure
  • Experience using large scale SEM management tools (ex. SA360, Google Ads Editor, Marin, Kenshoo, etc.)
  • Experience with MMM
  • Experience using SQL, Python, or similar languages
  • Experience within automotive, or other highly technical retail industries, is highly desirable

Compensation
This is an exempt salaried role with a base salary of $85,000 – $115,000 depending on experience, with a total compensation opportunity of $92,500 to $125,000 annually.
