POSITION SUMMARY:
Audax Group is seeking an Investor Relations professional to become a key contributor on a high-performing team. The firm’s Investor Relations effort has a high degree of responsibility and corresponding visibility with senior management. The Investor Relations Senior Associate will focus on the Private Debt business in New York and assist in fundraising, reporting, communication and overall relationship management efforts. The role requires the ability to prioritize multiple assigned tasks and deliverables in a deadline-oriented environment. Successful candidates are creative problem solvers who have proven ability to produce results. Attention to detail, strong interpersonal skills, quantitative and qualitative reasoning ability and a rigorous work ethic are prerequisites.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Communications
- Create innovative marketing collateral and work to constantly improve existing presentations
- Assist in the drafting and developing of investor communications, including quarterly and annual reports, capital call and distribution notices
- Work with Investment and Investor Relations teams to create newsletters or market updates for distribution to both existing and prospective investors
- Facilitate internal review process for all external documents
- Work with compliance/fund counsel to ensure all communications have the appropriate disclosures and are reviewed and approved by compliance
Client Service and Fundraising
- Work with Investor Relations team to handle day-to-day investor inquiries including due diligence questionnaires or ad hoc requests from existing and prospective investors Manage timeline and work with internal teams to draft incoming RFPs/DDQs for prospective investors
- Coordinate the preparation of materials for investor meetings including drafting presentations, generating back pocket/support materials, and organizing agendas
- Research and create target lists of prospective institutional and HNW investors
- Develop, build and maintain deep relationships with internal firm resources including Investment, Finance, Compliance, etc. which are integral to fulfilling investor requests
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in finance, marketing or communications
- Demonstrated professional and academic achievement
- 4-6 years professional experience in a communications or marketing position within a financial institution
- Superb written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of private debt and private equity industries is a plus
- Works well under pressure with the ability to multitask and prioritize workload
- Strong work ethic, team player, proactive, attention to detail and positive attitude
LOCATION: New York, NY. 4 days/week in office
For New York City only: The base salary range for this position is $140,000 – $155,000. The base salary range represents the estimated low and high end for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation may vary and will be determined based on but not limited to, the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and Audax reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. An employee may also be eligible for annual discretionary incentive compensation based on performance.
