We are actively seeking a Senior H ydraulic Engineer to work with our FLAP division (Fluid, Lube, Actuator and Pneumatics) and the sky is the limit with Testek Solutions The candidate will work with a worldwide dedicated team and be responsible for the design of hydraulic systems, holding fixtures (with active motion), hydraulic manifolds and the integration of mechanical/hydraulic devices and hydraulic controls while working with different fluid mediums. Job Responsibilities: Creation of hydraulic systems from conception per CMM and/or TO requirements Selecting hydraulic components to include valves, pumps, transducers, filters, and fittings Size hydraulic tubing/hoses Assist the hydraulic engineering team to support sales on hydraulic test stand proposals when required Work cross functionally between Electrical, Mechanical and Software Engineers Create and update BOM accurately Meet all milestones and remain within project budgets Mentor mid-level Hydraulic Engineers and overlook the accuracy of their work Assist with hydraulic commissioning of products Qualifications: Bachelor of Science degree in engineering required 10 years of experience in hydraulic design required in a manufacturing environment Extensive experience required in relation to the design of hydraulic circuits, selection of hydraulic components, test/evaluation of hydraulic systems, pneumatic high-pressure piping and servo valve applications Experience calculating, but not limited to, pressure drops, heat transfer, power requirements, time response, efficiency, reliability and accuracy stack ups Coordinate requirements internally and with external suppliers Hands on experience troubleshooting hydraulic and pneumatic systems Strong AutoCAD experience 3D application experience (but not required), preferably SolidWorks Proficient in Microsoft Office Thorough understanding of I/O devices, PLC and logical fundamental Project Management Skills Must be a Team Player with a positive attitude and have strong communication skills Willing to travel 5-10% domestically/internationally (as safety and restrictions permit) Must be a US citizen or US green card holder Testek Solutions requires all new hires submit and pass a pre-employment drug screen, credit check (when applicable), and background check prior to beginning employment.
