Job Overview
The IT Transformation Business Analyst will collaborate with IT teams to facilitate the implementation of key company initiatives, delivering long-term value to T-Mobile. These initiatives include the integration, separation, and divestiture of IT systems. The ideal candidate will possess a fervor for business process excellence, internal controls, compliance, technical savvy and program management, with a proven ability to work effectively with multiple teams, particularly M&A, operations, and IT. This role requires an advocate for our comprehensive risk management approach, capable of providing essential reporting and project updates. The successful candidate will demonstrate meticulous attention to detail and the ability to tackle challenges head-on.
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare program status reports to senior leadership and other stakeholders.
- Create reports for projects, programs, KPIs and other ad hoc initiatives.
- Document risks and controls of all related systems in an end-to-end flow and update as needed.
- Apply a growth mindset approach to continuous improvement in personal, project, and organizational development.
- Work in a deadline-driven environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Lead initiatives to identify control gaps and implement process improvements.
- Participate in the creation of functional / non-functional specification documentation in close partnership with IT and project teams.
- Define testing and review interface testing between various applications. Work with engineers to resolve functional issues arising from user acceptance testing.
- Assist with the analysis of complex transactions, the launch of new products, or the acquisition of other entities.
- Proactively respond to investigate, analyze, validate and resolve issues for a dynamic and complex tool and environment including the identification and causes of all issues reported. Investigate and debug issues at a functional level as well as at code level. Investigate and converse with tool vendor to debug and resolve code-level issues when necessary.
- Identify, assess, and manage risks and issues associated with integration and separation initiatives, collaborating with stakeholders to develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define and track initiatives which enable timely and successful TSA exits.
- Create, deliver and validate IT costs for invoices for IT services for M&A projects
Integration and Separation Planning and Execution:
- Collaborate with IT stakeholders to define and implement processes and tools to enable operational due diligence activities, including any necessary data rooms, parlor rooms, and/or clean rooms.
- Define, implement, and lead IT activities to facilitate assessment, creation, and timelines for integration and/or separation initiatives
- Manage and lead IT projects to meet deadlines for transitional activities , including hour by hour plans, command centers, etc.

- Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree Computer Science, Business Analysis, Project Management, or related field

Base Pay Range: $85,700 – $154,600
Corporate Bonus Target: 15%
The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.
At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance.
