Job Description

Systems Engineer III (U.S. Citizen) NOTE : This position is for our forthcoming long-term federal project. Please review the requirements carefully. Daily Responsibilities Design, test, upgrade and integrate new or existing infrastructure platforms in accordance to the organization’s business requirements. Document all aspects of the engineering process as it relates to build and configuration, testing, and deployment of infrastructure platforms. Coordinate changes such as implementation of new infrastructure platforms, upgrades or version increments to existing platforms with system administrators and stakeholders. Plan, coordinate, and implement security measures to safeguard infrastructure platforms. Performs infrastructure platform modeling, analysis, and planning. Coordinate with architecture and evaluate new and emerging infrastructure platform technologies and make recommendations for selection of these products. Assist system administrators with complex troubleshooting issues and coordinate vendor engagements to assist in troubleshooting efforts. May provide day-to-day operational or administrative duties for deployed infrastructure platforms in lab or production environments. Centralize mobile device management and maintenance, combining security and management solutions for devices, applications, data, and content by: Enabling IT to track and manage wireless devices Improving security, integration, and mobile application adoption Securely managing mobile devices and platforms Increasing access to data, applications, and services Requirements Must of a U.S. Citizen (no dual status), as mandated by the government client. Must be local to the Denver CO area (no convenience travel). Must have an active Public Trust Investigation. Must have the following certification: IAT II: IAW Section 3.0 Commercial Certificates for DoD 8570.01-M certificate requirement, CE: Professional level certification for supported technology. 6 years of demonstrated experience in the above referenced responsibilities in a federal government project / environment. Possess and apply expertise on multiple complex work assignments. Ability to work with other senior technical and user staff to complete projects. Operate with appreciable latitude in developing methodology and presenting solutions to problems. BS/BA degree or equivalent experience may be substituted for a 4-year degree.
