What You’ll Do

The Technical Project Manager within our Project Management Office (PMO), will be responsible for driving the success of our technology initiatives. You will manage the entire lifecycle of complex projects, ensuring integration with our broader business goals and PMO standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, extensive Agile experience, and a proven track record of successful project delivery within a structured PMO environment.

  • Lead complex IT projects from planning and development through implementation and monitoring, adhering to PMO standards and methodologies.
  • Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs using Agile methodologies, primarily Scrum or Kanban, while ensuring compliance with PMO processes.
  • Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools; track project milestones and deliverables.
  • Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents.
  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.
  • Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.
  • Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.
  • Monitor project performance with the help of appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.
  • Provide direction and support to project teams.
  • Continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders.
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, ensuring adherence to PMO standards.
  • Advocate for PMO methodologies within project teams and the broader organization

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven working experience (3+ years) as a project manager in the information technology sector.
  • Solid technical background with practical understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong working knowledge of Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
  • Agile / Scrum certification is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with stakeholder management, risk management, and change management.
  • Demonstrated ability to work within a PMO structure, following standardized processes and contributing to the development of new processes.
  • This position may require occasional travel.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities.

Salary Range: $85,000 – $110,000
