Marriott International The first all-inclusive resort concept under the Marriott brand has opened. Marriott Cancun All-Inclusive ResortMarriott Cancun All-Inclusive Resort in Quintana Roo, Mexico, has indeed been getting into the all-inclusive business over the past few years by acquiring existing hotels, but Marriott Cancun All-Inclusive Resort is the first all-inclusive resort developed by Marriott from start to finish.

Alternative Marriott Cancun ResortClosed last year for extensive renovations, the new 450-room Marriott Cancun All-Inclusive Resort offers incentive travelers the opportunity to network and immerse themselves in the local culture through enriching experiences, engaging entertainment and personalized hospitality. With the opening of this innovative new property, Marriott plans to redefine what “all-inclusive” means, not only in the services offered but also in how it caters to the lifestyles of its guests who visit.

“We are excited to be at the forefront of such a groundbreaking new resort,” said Chris Calabrese, general manager and vice president. Marriott Cancun All-Inclusive Resort and JW Marriott Cancun Resort & Spa said in a media release: “Being the first all-inclusive hotel entirely conceived by Marriott in Mexico and even the world is a true testament to the culture and care we have built here and for our guests. We are thrilled to be able to warmly welcome our guests back.”
