Prevue’s Meet Well Summit has a two-fold mission: to share ideas for healthier meetings and to inspire attendees to reach their personal wellness goals.
Meet Well, held this week at Sunseeker Resort in Charlotte Harbor, Fla., accomplished that mission. First, the resort itself is a stunning new facility designed specifically for meetings, located in a little-known area of Southwest Florida’s Gulf Coast, halfway between Sarasota and Fort Myers.
Guests at the hotel were given VIP treatment, from creative and inspired food and beverage options to thoughtful in-room amenities such as Australian wool blankets, cheese boards and wood-and-stone coasters tastefully embossed with the Sunseeker logo (a stylized sun).
Then the programme itself began, kicking off with a candid talk on mental health from Janice Cardinale, followed by Dave Stevens who buzzed the room with his amazing wellness energy, chef Melissa Sherwood talking about superfoods and finally the lovely Sonia Satra, former star of Guiding Life and One Life to Live, passionately mentoring us on making our dreams come true.
And did we mention the destination? Attendees visited the charming Fisherman’s Village across the harbor from the resort and had the opportunity to watch a million-dollar sunset on a King Fisher Fleet cruise. Half the group then traveled to FAM, hosted by the Punta Gorda/Englewood Beach Convention & Visitors Bureau, where they visited venues such as the Peace River Botanical Garden and Sculpture Garden and the Charlotte Harbor Event and Conference Center.
