Austin opens new event space at downtown cultural center -Earnhire

Designed with meeting and event planners in mind, this 2,000-square-foot venue features large opening windows offering downtown views, a modern industrial aesthetic, wood floors, customizable climate control and state-of-the-art audio and visual technology.

Block 21 serves as the shopping and cultural hub of downtown Austin and will feature a 37-story mixed-use development. W Austin Hotel & Residences The resort offers 159 condominiums and 251 rooms. Austin City Limits Live ACL Live takes place at the Moody Theatre, a famous venue that can accommodate 2,700 people.

W AustinOnce booked, event planners can take advantage of W Austin’s extensive, customizable catering menu, designed by the hotel’s executive chef, Manuel Rodriguez. The new venue is ideal for hosting large gatherings and can accommodate up to 2,000 guests, pairing seamlessly with Block 21’s existing private event services.

Patrick Moore, CEO Opry Entertainment GroupHighlighting PNC Hall’s potential, the company said in a press statement, “When we acquired this property, we recognized a fantastic opportunity to transform this previously underutilized area into a flexible event space that can be enjoyed by guests of both ACL Live and W Austin. This addition will create a much-needed, high-quality event venue in downtown Austin.”

From August 31st, ACL Live participants will be able to PNC Hall: Premium Pass Granting access to the new space for select shows, this all-inclusive ticket includes complimentary drinks from a private bar, appetizers from the W Austin catering team, and early access to PNC Hall starting 30 minutes before doors open and for two hours during the show. Premium passes can be purchased for $105 per person.
