These terms are an agreement between you and EarnHire for your use of earnhire.com, including the job search, the resume and career tools, the guides and the EarnHire Arcade games. By using EarnHire you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
Using EarnHire
- You agree to give accurate information and to keep your sign-in details secure.
- One account per person. Do not create or run more than one account, including through email variations, alternate addresses or other identities. Duplicate or linked accounts may lose access to earning and cash-out, and any pending credits may be voided.
- Use EarnHire for genuine job searching and personal use. Do not scrape the site, interfere with how it works, or try to get around its limits or security.
- Do not use EarnHire for anything unlawful, fraudulent or deceptive.
Job listings
EarnHire shows job listings from third-party partners and links you to the partner's or employer's site to apply. We do not employ, screen or represent the employers, and we do not guarantee that a listing is accurate, still open, or will lead to an interview or a job. Treat every listing with ordinary care: a real employer will never ask you to pay to apply, buy equipment up front, or deposit a check and send money back. If something looks wrong, report it to support@earnhire.com.
Resume and career tools
The resume, career map and report tools use AI to produce suggestions from the resume and job postings you provide. Review everything before you use it. You are responsible for making sure your resume is truthful. A free account includes a set number of tailored resumes each month, and the paid membership includes more; current amounts are shown in the app.
Membership and refunds
The optional membership is billed monthly through Stripe until you cancel. You can cancel at any time, and you keep membership features until the end of the period you paid for. Refunds are reviewed case by case, taking into account technical problems that kept you from using the service, your usage, and how long ago you paid. Contact support@earnhire.com for refund requests.
EarnHire Arcade games
The EarnHire Arcade offers two games, Earn with Words and Resume Runner.
- Playing is optional. The games are never required to use EarnHire, its job search, or its other tools.
- Points are for play. Points, coins, scores, play time and streaks are game statistics. They have no cash value and cannot be exchanged.
- The games show advertising. Ads support keeping the games free. Watching an ad never earns money or credits.
- Genuine play only. Automated, scripted or coordinated play, or the use of more than one account, earns nothing and may lead to review or removal.
Member credits and gift cards
Earlier rewards programs credited balances to some members' accounts. The games no longer add to these balances, but existing balances can still be redeemed as described here. The following terms apply:
- Credits are a discretionary benefit, not wages, income, or payment for work. They are not guaranteed. EarnHire sets the rate, the daily limits and the cash-out minimum, and may change, pause or end the program at any time.
- Daily limits apply. Credits above the daily cashable limit may be held as pending and released later, under the limits shown in your account.
- Eligibility. Cash-out is available to verified members in the United States and Canada. Earning and cash-out require a verified email address. If an account stays unverified for more than 7 days, any unconfirmed balance is reset to zero.
- Cash-out. When your confirmed balance reaches the minimum shown in your account, you can cash out for a digital gift card of your choice, delivered by our gift card partner, Giftbit. Gift cards are issued by third-party brands and are subject to their terms and to Giftbit's terms. Brand availability varies by region.
- Limits and review. Cash-outs are limited to once per day and may be reviewed, delayed, reduced or declined to prevent fraud and keep the program fair.
- Non-genuine activity. Automated, scripted or bot activity, rapid or repeated activity that is not genuine play, and operating or coordinating more than one account will earn reduced credits or none. Credits from that activity may be reversed, and the account may be reviewed, held, suspended or permanently banned at our discretion.
Cash-out verification
To protect the program from fraud, some cash-outs need a one-time check:
- Most cash-outs go through without one. Verification applies to a first cash-out that is unusually large or earned unusually fast, or where activity is flagged as automated.
- When it applies, the cash-out is held for up to 24 hours while we confirm the account. We may ask you to confirm the profile and contact details you already gave us, and to verify your email if you have not.
- If verification passes, the cash-out is released and the check is not repeated. If it fails, or the activity is found to be fraudulent, the cash-out may be declined and the account restricted.
- Connections that hide location (VPN, proxy or datacenter addresses) and accounts showing automated activity are not eligible for cash-out.
- If an account is placed on an eligibility hold, including for inconsistent or shifting sign-in locations, earning and cash-out pause. A balance on hold is reset to zero if the hold is not resolved within 7 days.
Our content
EarnHire, Earn with Words and Resume Runner, including their names, logos, artwork, characters, text and software, belong to EarnHire and are protected by copyright and trademark law. You may use them for personal, non-commercial play and job searching. You may not copy, sell, modify or redistribute them without our written permission.
Your content
You keep ownership of your resume and anything else you upload. You give EarnHire permission to store and process it to provide the service to you, as described in our Privacy Policy.
Disclaimers
EarnHire is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not promise that the site will always be available or error-free, that listings are accurate, or that using EarnHire will get you a job. Balances shown in the app are best-effort figures and may be corrected at any time. Where we can reasonably confirm that a genuine balance was lost to a technical error, we will make a good-faith effort to restore it, but we are not required to.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, EarnHire and its affiliates are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for:
- the availability, value, denomination or delivery of any gift card, which is provided through third parties (Giftbit and the issuing brands);
- any change to, pause in, or end of the credits program, its rates, limits or minimums;
- third-party services, job listings, websites or employers;
- delays or denials caused by fraud prevention, verification or eligibility checks;
- any balance that is missing, reduced, delayed or removed because of a technical error, data loss, calculation error, outage or accidental adjustment;
- hiring decisions or employment outcomes.
Our total liability for any claim related to credits or gift cards is limited to the value of the affected credit. If EarnHire ends the credits program, we will make a good-faith effort to pay out balances that are eligible for cash-out at that time, to the extent feasible. Balances have value only through cash-out while the program operates.
Ending your use
You can stop using EarnHire and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts the service or other users at risk.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service changes. When we make significant changes, we will update the date below and, where appropriate, tell you by email or on the site. Continuing to use EarnHire after a change means you accept the updated terms.
