Transcend Cruisecalling itself the world’s first charter-only river cruise company, has announced that its first dedicated B2B river cruise ship will launch on European rivers in the fourth quarter of 2025, followed by a second new ship in 2026.
Transcend is offering meetings and incentive planners “a new option on Europe’s rivers,” according to a release, with its uniquely designed vessels offering “an innovative alternative to land-based meetings and events.”
“These sectors of the industry are craving something new, viable and cost-effective that offers the level of service they expect from a land-based five-star hotel. This is truly a game-changer for these market segments,” Transcend Cruises CEO Hans Rood said in a press release.
Transcend Cruise The 135-meter (443-foot) ship will offer spaces and services designed specifically for large groups. Up to 120 guests will be accommodated in 60 identical spacious staterooms, two of which can be converted into suites, giving charterers the flexibility to cater for parties of 30 to 120. As a B2B-focused platform, Transcend Cruises’ ships will also be equipped with a range of technology that will enable charter clients to promote their brand to guests through experiential elements such as digital signage, custom lighting, sound and imagery.
