About the role

We are looking for a Brand Design Lead to join our global creative team and drive growth in the UK and shape our vision to change employment for good. The right candidate will be an on-the-ground brand steward and creative driver, guiding and supporting our UK team to deliver highly effective strategic creative work. This role is fully remote and we are looking for a self-motivated team player with a range of brand, design and creative experience. You will be able to devise campaigns and designs for digital, print and all types of content in between across the Employment Hero house of brands. You will be curious, immersed in culture and passionate about using your creative talent to shape our vision to change employment for good.

What to do

  • Responsible for concept development, creative direction and brand application for the execution of integrated campaigns and creative projects including campaign identity, OOH, digital and microsites, editorial content, reporting, social media assets, video and experience design direction.
  • You will create visually compelling creative assets that align with our brand identity while also expanding our design language into new territories including digital advertising, social media content, emails, landing pages, presentations, event collateral, print, motion and content.
  • You will drive the development of audience-focused creative for brand campaigns and multi-channel marketing initiatives to achieve business objectives.
  • You will work autonomously in the UK and have brand design/creative responsibility.
  • You will work with our Campaign Managers, Growth and Loyalty teams to create compelling content across multiple media formats including websites, digital advertising, social media, downloadable content, video, animation and events.

What to bring

  • 8+ years of agency/design industry experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • 4+ years of proven leadership experience managing and leading multi-disciplinary teams and partnerships with direct reports, contractors and creative agencies to deliver complex creative projects end-to-end.
  • He is an experienced designer/creator with a diverse and highly creative portfolio showcasing award-winning work across marketing campaigns, creative projects and social content.
  • A passion for creativity, branding, design and all things movement.
  • A natural storyteller with an interest in video, digital content and social trends, he is always looking to push boundaries, innovate and elevate brand experiences through great visual storytelling.
  • A strategic thinker with a strong strategic mindset and a keen understanding of audience insights, able to translate business objectives into compelling creative solutions.
  • Excellent understanding of marketing principles, digital-first design, accessibility standards, photography, typography, digital/social and print.
  • With a deep understanding of media platforms including TVC, OOH, paid social and organic social, we deliver impactful creative at speed and scale.
  • A proven track record of socially-driven campaigns that have made a difference.
  • We operate at the intersection of creativity, data and innovation to drive creative outcomes by testing new ideas, insights and strategies, and focusing on those that are proven successful.
  • Advanced proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop). Bonus: AfterEffects and Premiere Pro.
