What we’re looking for 🔎

The Splash Professional Services team helps the world’s leading brands solve their large-scale event marketing challenges by leveraging our software to provide workflows, flexible creative, powerful integrations, and reporting with meaningful insights into event marketing operations and strategy. You will become an expert Splash user with a deep understanding of event marketing program execution and analytics.

The Engagement Manager will own and manage the delivery of SaaS Event Marketing solutions to clients across various industries and segments and will work with clients with a focus on absolute efficiency. The Engagement Manager will work with a group of highly talented resources and participate and lead weekly/monthly client stakeholder touch points, internal project team meetings to evaluate optimal execution of projects and explore client expansion opportunities.

In this role you will be able to…

  • Oversee multiple implementation projects as assigned within the Professional Services division, ensuring project success, adherence to project goals and timelines, and high quality deliverables.
  • Provides expertise and best practices on implementation processes to new clients and existing clients expanding their programs.
  • Manage project deliverables, change orders, escalations, report milestone status, and proactively identify and mitigate project risks.
  • Align and allocate internal resources to meet project timelines and budgets with client approval.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and internal teams including Sales, Customer Success, Engagement and Service Delivery to ensure the integrity and success of project deliveries.
  • We offer a consultative approach by building and maintaining great client relationships, making each project a success for both our clients and Splash, and exploring ways to expand existing client relationships and develop new ones.
  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of the Splash platform, business processes around partner automation, and partner management best practices.
  • Strong business acumen, platform knowledge, understanding of customer needs and ability to identify new business opportunities.
  • Manage the implementation that requires key metrics related to conversion and productivity for further expansion.
  • Participate in the pre-sales process to fully understand the customer and their needs, tasks and collection requirements. Prepare a Statement of Work.
  • Leverage office productivity software (Salesforce, Google Sheets, Microsoft Office, Google Sheets, JIRA/Confluence, Mission Control, project planning tools, etc.)
  • We drive process improvements to streamline operations and deliver high value to our customers, including project retros.
  • Give your team the drive and motivation they need to deliver proactively

Eligibility:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • 5+ years of software implementation, engagement management, project management, management consulting, or related enterprise software experience participating in and leading large, complex projects within an enterprise-wide environment.
  • Knowledge/experience with hybrid Waterfall (traditional, iterative) and Agile (Scrum, Kanban) methodologies
  • Effective and detail-oriented communication skills: written, verbal, Zoom, presentations
  • Proven ability to provide highly accurate documentation
  • Self-motivated and able to prioritize and execute tasks independently
  • Highly skilled in interacting with all levels of an organization and has direct customer/client management experience.
  • Ability to negotiate with clients and manage contracts/statements of work.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive large scale, highly complex programs in a fast-paced, matrix-managed organization.
  • Ability to effectively and efficiently identify potential issues and evaluate potential change orders to mitigate risk and support decision making (risk mitigation, change management)
  • Ability to effectively prioritize workload and tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to fulfill minor travel requirements (up to 10%) as needed
  • Project Management Professional (PMP/PMI) certification is helpful but not required.
  • Experience with partnerships or resellers is helpful but not required.
  • Excellent ability to develop project documentation tailored to joint client needs and internal guidance documents for project records.

The base salary for this role is: $78,000 – $88,000 For employees who reside in the United States. In addition to cash compensation, all full-time employees may participate in our Employee Stock Program. Final offer amount is determined by multiple factors, including experience and expertise, and may vary from the amount shown above.
