[Hiring] Junior Graphic Designer @Glantz -Earnhire

About the role:

In this entry level role you will gain diverse project experience across global B2B and B2C clients, as well as local and regional businesses. You will be involved in both production and hands-on design, adhering to established brand standards whilst developing new standards for print and digital mediums.

As a Junior Designer, you’ll lead smaller projects within larger accounts and support the design team. You’ll learn how to run a studio, take on production tasks, and gradually start presenting to clients alongside creative directors. During your first year, you’ll expand your skills in PowerPoint, user experience, interface design, motion graphics, branding, and more.

Your responsibilities:

  • Reports to the Creative Director, Associate Creative Director or Lead Designer.
  • Support various projects under the guidance of a senior team
  • Support for designing with Adobe Creative Suite, PowerPoint, and Figma
  • Perform production design tasks efficiently and accurately
  • Gain skills in web design and digital strategy
  • Contribute to the logo and brand identity concept
  • Prioritize purposeful and strategic design over trendy visual aesthetics

As you grow, you can expect:

  • Acting spontaneously when faced with ambiguity and choice paralysis
  • Understand project needs based on user insights and analytics
  • Collaborate across teams to achieve client goals
  • Observing and assisting with UX/Web design, including prototyping in Figma
  • Learn marketing best practices for your digital campaigns
  • Develop skills to present design decisions that align with business goals
  • Contribute to team process improvement activities

  • Stay on budget and on schedule
  • Balancing multiple projects at once
  • Manage your daily timesheets
  • We maintain a working schedule of approximately 40 hours per week (from around 8:30 to 5:30) and are flexible to accommodate early morning or late night meetings, emergency work, etc.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in design or related field
  • 1-3 years of experience (internship, freelance, or graduate portfolio)
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
  • Figma and PowerPoint skills
  • A strong design portfolio showing:
    • Gestalt Principles
    • typography
    • Color Theory
    • Layout Principles
    • Print and Digital Design
    • Branding Project
