[Hiring] Lead Product Manager, Retail, Trustly Earnhire

About us

The Trustly Americas team includes PayWithMyBank, a Silicon Valley startup founded in 2012, and Sweden’s Trustly AB, which merged in 2019. Our team comes from 30 countries, serves 9,000 merchants, and connects with 650 million consumers and 12,000 banks in 33 countries. Our global network processes more than $58 billion in transactions annually.

We are the leader in open banking payments, and our mission is to deliver a great payment experience for merchants and consumers through Pay by Bank. For merchants, it means accepting payments at a significantly lower cost than cards. For consumers, it means they can use their bank account as a payment method without being locked into a high-interest card. And all of this is made possible with the open banking security that only Trustly can provide.

With our US headquarters in Silicon Valley and global headquarters in Stockholm, Sweden, we are made up of a culturally diverse team spread across Canada, Brazil, UK, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Malta, etc. We have a work from anywhere policy across North America, across the continental US and Canada.

With our growing team in the Americas, now is the perfect time to join Trustly. If you want to thrive in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced, casual-professional, positive, and challenging work environment, we’d love to talk to you.

  • Communicate progress to key stakeholders, including any necessary escalations or significant changes that impact other stakeholders (e.g., operations, risk)
  • Develop key product metrics, monitor performance over time, and drive hypothesis-driven experiments to prove causality of claimed impacts.
  • Partner with designers to create great mobile-first user experiences
  • You will collaborate with engineers to test feasibility and drive end-to-end feature development with an emphasis on speed while maintaining high quality and security standards.
  • You will partner with key functional stakeholders including Marketing, Operations, Risk and Compliance to move products smoothly from concept to launch.
  • Keeping a keen eye on the competition, we stay up to date with the latest trends in payments and UX design, helping to maintain product strategy.
  • Use a known product framework to justify the prioritization of key problem statements
  • We foster a culture of writing with concise PRDs that detail why we do everything we do, and justify our decisions with powerful customer insights and data.
  • Collaborate with other members of the product design team to shape the culture and be an evangelist for our product-led mindset.
  • Who are you

  • 3+ years of experience driving a product or key feature from 0 to 1 in the US consumer fintech space, with 6+ years of that experience in product management.
