Requirements
Your responsibilities as a motion designer include:
- Animate and edit assets for social media, banner ads, videos, UI elements, and UX prototypes.
- Combine music with 2D animation and video to create a variety of assets across social media, video and everything.
- Concept and design movement to bring your ideas to life.
- Use feedback to collaborate and take your work and thinking to the next level.
- Present your work with passion and clarity, and highlight in your narrative the decisions you made based on the brief, guiding your client to provide focused feedback.
- Stay curious, develop your skills, and evolve to stay ahead of the industry.
- We work on projects from concept to completion.
- Work efficiently, do great work, and be a fun person to work with.
- 3D skills are an advantage but not required.
- It also depends on the company you are assigned to.
Experience and Skills
- Excellent English language skills, both written and spoken, are required.
- A portfolio or case studies with examples of your work is required. Make sure to include the various pieces of work you’ve created and/or published, accomplishments you’ve made, case studies, or anything else you’d like to showcase.
- 5+ years of experience in motion design.
- They have opinions on the shape of the motion design and the ability to execute it with limited input from those around them.
- Understand how design and creativity fits into web, mobile web, mobile apps, 3D and animation.
- Ability to solve end-to-end visual problems and design systems.
- Proficient in Adobe CC with expertise in After Effects and Premier.
- A robust online portfolio showcasing a wide range of work across various aspects of 2D motion design.
- Excellent communication, collaboration and time management skills.
- Have a refined aesthetic sense.
- They are adaptable and open to feedback.
