Your Duties and Tasks:

  • Answers calls and emails.
  • Complete entry-level bookkeeping tasks such as recording expenses, organizing receipts, and completing other transaction records.
  • Resolve billing issues with clients and internal team members.
  • Provide team members with account access, usage reports, data analysis, and other ad-hoc requests.
  • Support quality assurance checks on a range of internal and client facing reports.
  • Organize new client contracts, generate invoices and process client payments.
  • Contributes to the maintenance, upkeep and data entry of company databases.
  • Research, order and distribute gifts company-wide (2-3 times per year).
  • Organize company events, contests and special projects throughout the year.
  • Facilitates company holiday, vacation and schedule change calendars.

LA based duties and tasks:

  • Collects mail twice a week from our downtown Los Angeles office.
  • Scan and organize your email digitally
  • Recording and receiving customer payments
  • Collect and redistribute company office equipment from local staff as needed (must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation in Los Angeles)

Here’s what you need:

  • Willingness to learn, grow and collaborate with the team and the company as a whole.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • High levels of discretion, ethics and reliability.
  • Intermediate level spreadsheet skills (preferred)
  • Innovative thinking and a willingness to challenge existing methods where improvements can be made.
  • Bookkeeping/financial record keeping experience preferred.
  • Experience using Google Sheets or Excel, Quickbooks Online, and G-Suite (preferred).
  • Must be available to work 40 hours per week, 9am to 6pm Pacific Time.
  • A reliable space to work remotely with fast computers, high-quality internet, cameras, microphones and speakers.

California, New York, Washington, Colorado: Base pay for this position ranges from $15-25 per hour. Pay may vary based on experience, qualifications, skills test performance, geographic location, position, and other factors. For locations outside of California, New York, Washington, and Colorado, pay may fall outside the above range.
