job description
This is a 6 month fixed term contract opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead large scale, advanced product development projects involving our portfolio of enzymes, nucleic acids, next generation sequencing, oligonucleotides and instrumentation lines.
In this role, you will lead diverse projects, each with their own unique challenges and opportunities. Projects span multiple functional areas including departments, business functions, sites, etc. You will provide leadership, guidance and direction to an international project team.
You will be part of a group that thinks outside the box to identify and drive areas for improvement in practices and approaches within the R&D department and the organisation as a whole. Prepare advanced project budgets and optimise project delivery by questioning time, cost and risk assumptions. Ensure compliance with key industry standards and relevant certifications. Prepare and support internal and external quality and financial audits and act as the guardian of quality.
Qualifications
To succeed with us you need an experienced project manager with extensive molecular biology expertise and a proven understanding of quality management systems. The ability to ensure compliance with ISO and regulatory requirements is essential.
