Trilogy Federal, LLC. (Trilogy) is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to support the data analytics needs of a large federal agency.
Primary Responsibilities:
We help you compare various data, conduct trend and predictive analysis, and produce comprehensive analytical reports that can help you make decisions and communicate.
You need to have the skillset to deal with large, complex data sets, multiple sources, and changing requirements.
Design a multidimensional system using star schema in SSAS to facilitate access to diverse data and perform efficient and rapid analysis on large amounts of data to uncover trends and make more timely and informed decisions. The design must be flexible to accept data from multiple data sources with different structures and be compatible with existing sources and structures.
Create reports from OLAP multidimensional databases using Power BI
Proficient in the operation of various data management systems and will assist in designing scalable automated reporting processes that efficiently and consistently deliver high quality reports.
Minimum requirements:
Bachelor’s degree
8+ years of relevant experience in a Federal Government consulting environment.
Ability to obtain Public Trust Clearance
Detailed understanding of Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint) and their functionality.
Experience with Power BI, SQL/PL SQL, database design and ETL (Extract, Transform and Load Data), and understanding of Big Data concepts.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication and facilitation skills
Experience in creating executive level documents and reports.
General understanding of IT system development life cycle and agile concepts
A strong understanding of IT architecture concepts
Ability to work well with end users and senior client stakeholders.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative virtual environment.
A detailed, consultative approach with a focus on customer service
Self-motivated and able to work both independently and in a team
Desired Qualifications:
Holds an advanced degree or certification in data analytics or business intelligence (e.g. BIDA)
Experience using Tableau
VA or VHA experience
Experience with or general understanding of VA data analysis platforms, repositories, or tools.
