Imagen Technologies is a fast-growing healthcare startup that empowers patients to receive diagnosis, treatment, and management during their primary care visit, avoiding the need for doctors to refer them to hospitals, imaging centers, and other time-consuming and costly options. Today, the company is building an AI-enabled platform that allows patients to receive instant diagnostic testing, instant results, and instant next steps all in one primary care visit, reducing diagnosis and treatment times. Imagen has six FDA-cleared AI medical devices that support accurate disease detection and improved patient care.

With over $160 million in funding from Google Ventures and one of the largest clinical networks in the nation, we are rapidly expanding our platform across the U.S. to 16 states and 500,000 patients in 2023, and to over 20 states and 1.5 million patients in 2024. By 2026, we expect to serve more than 5 million patients annually in 35 states.

We are seeking a Senior Healthcare Data Analyst to be a key member of the finance and strategy team working with Imagen’s rapidly growing real-world datasets. The Senior Healthcare Data Analyst will apply their expertise to evaluate datasets, synthesize results, and influence action across the business, including Imagen’s leadership, AI team, finance, product, and care delivery. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is intellectually curious, eager to learn, and motivated to inspire action through the analysis of data and communication of insights.

responsibility:

  • You will lead the creation of dashboards and reports to provide key insights to inform actions across the business.
  • Collaborate with product owners and business users to implement data product requirements and incorporate feedback on an ongoing basis.
  • Clean, transform, and aggregate data from various sources to create a data model.
  • Analyze client billing data to evaluate the impact of service provision on patient outcomes (e.g., how did providing Imagen impact medical costs such as third-party imaging fees or specialist consultation fees)
  • Communicate results to internal stakeholders and work closely with multidisciplinary teams.

Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years experience
  • Bachelor’s degree (quantitative field such as mathematics or engineering preferred but not required)
  • 3+ years of experience with medical claims data with understanding of medical coding systems (CPT, ICD-10, DRGs, etc.).
  • Developing business intelligence visualizations (e.g. Tableau dashboards)
  • Familiar with SQL, Python (pandas), and Git

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of risk adjustment models

Imagen Technologies is a remote-first company and this job will be performed remotely.

ofThe base salary for this position is $90,000-$120,000 plus benefits. Please note that this range is a guideline and an individual’s total compensation will vary based on qualifications, skill level, abilities, location and other factors.
