Your career

Your role will focus on relationship management to achieve measurable results of increased revenue, market share and depth within in-country partners. Your success in this role will span the creation and execution of in-country and regional business plans and will be measured primarily by joint business executed. Palo Alto Networks’ national channel organization is a strategic pillar for the continued growth of the organization, and we are seeking a dynamic leader who thrives in a fast-paced work environment and can play a key role in driving Palo Alto Networks relationships within our national partner ecosystem.

Your influence

  • Develop and execute a business plan that drives all aspects of the partner relationship to maximize growth opportunities and ensure partners are well positioned to lead successful customer implementations and recommendations.
  • Extensive experience working with Global System Integrators (GSIs), In-Country Partners (Presidio, WWT, Optiv, etc.), Service Providers and Cloud Service Providers (CSPs) – knowledge of how the organizations operate and the internal areas to work with to drive Palo Alto Networks specific programs to gain mindshare, build pipeline and drive revenue.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing in-country strategic partner specific business plans and marketing campaigns.
  • Work well in a team environment and ensure partner and customer satisfaction.
  • Design a compelling value proposition that will encourage partners to promote our solutions
  • Build services based on emerging and existing technologies to drive revenue growth
  • You will provide clear and consistent communication with assigned partners and across the region, building strong partnerships throughout the mission.
  • Lead regular business performance and relationship reviews with senior management and various stakeholders
  • Build and maintain performance reports and activity dashboards

Qualifications

Your experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, MBA preferred, or equivalent military experience required
  • 10+ years of experience in business management, channel management or business development roles for global system integrators in the enterprise software ecosystem, network security industry and cloud industry
  • Strong instincts and the ability to work easily from senior management down to the individual contributor level.
  • Excellent management communication and presentation skills
  • Exceeding performance targets
  • Understanding the channel operating model
  • Knowledge of sales, marketing and solution development
  • Demonstrate strong initiative and the ability to think creatively with excellent presentation, writing and overall communication skills
  • Consistent track record of leading complex sales situations through negotiation and dispute resolution.
  • Ability to work in a virtual team environment.
  • Negotiation and conflict resolution skills

Compensation offered for this position will vary depending on qualifications, experience and location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales positions) or base salary + commission target (for sales/commission positions) is expected to be between $256,900 and $353,200 per year.
