We are looking for a Senior UX/UI Designer who is independent-minded, insightful, adaptable, highly organized, passionate and strategic. You are very articulate and have excellent verbal, written, communication and presentation skills. Spontaneity is definitely not an issue for you. In this position, you will work with a team of designers on highly complex DoD projects.
Required skills:

- 5+ years of experience in interactive design, preferably with experience designing and shipping desktop applications at an agency.
- Hands-on experience in designing complex dashboards/data visualizations.
- You have the ability to creatively solve problems, an interdisciplinary sensibility for graphic, product and digital media design, and a keen eye for detail.
- Expert level understanding of information architecture, interaction design, user experience and visual design.
- A successful candidate will have a sensitivity to typography and color, as well as a working understanding of physics and animation.
- Proficiency in using Figma and a willingness to learn on the job are a must.
- Excellent collaboration and brainstorming skills.
- Ability to deliver quality work within demanding schedules.
- Experience with prototyping would be an advantage.
- Knowledge of design systems.
- Experience with multiple platforms and operating systems is an advantage.
- Analyze learning needs and goals to determine instructional strategies and objectives.
- Apply learning theories and principles to design engaging, interactive learning experiences.
- It integrates various media elements such as text, graphics, audio and video to improve learning outcomes.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of your materials and make revisions based on feedback and evaluation data.
- We collaborate with subject matter experts, educators, and stakeholders to ensure content is accurate and relevant.
- Active security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with DoD information systems.
- Development of instructional materials such as online courses, e-learning modules, training manuals, and multimedia presentations.
