As the VP of Sales for US East or US West, you will lead, motivate and develop a team of sales leaders from Director to VP level to enable the team to be creative and strategically prospect and develop new accounts for BeyondTrust. Develop sales strategies and plans to drive profitable business within your territory.

what will you do

  • You will lead, develop and scale a high-performing sales team while fostering a culture of success, accountability and continuous improvement that delivers outstanding results and achieves revenue goals.
  • Establish strong relationships with key stakeholders such as partners, distributors and customers to increase market penetration and customer satisfaction.
  • It provides a critical link between a company’s long-term strategic planning and short-term new business activity within the region.
  • You will approach business development challenges strategically and efficiently by developing and implementing sound internal processes from the ground up and leading teams to achieve goals.
  • Recommend and obtain key resources needed to succeed in your target market.
  • Build a pipeline for organic growth by ensuring excellence in planning and execution of business development activities across the lifecycle.
  • Provides accurate monthly and quarterly sales forecasts.
  • Strategically plans, manages and directs bid and proposal resources, target identification, acquisition strategy, proposal management, contract awards and drives customer relationships.
  • You will work closely with cross-functional teams including Legal, Sales Operations, Enablement, Marketing, Product and Customer Success to align strategies to drive growth and meet customer needs.
  • Maintain a high level of understanding of market conditions, competitive landscape and consumer trends across the market and use this knowledge to drive sales strategy and communicate to the field.
  • Assumes overall accountability for revenue growth and profitability aligned with corporate objectives.
  • Directs and develops the team, providing coaching and mentoring.
  • Identify and recommend business process improvements.
  • Participate in industry events and organizations as a leader and promote products and solutions at conferences, forums and seminars
  • Operate within expense and program budgets

What to bring

  • 10+ years of continuous experience in senior leadership roles with demonstrated multi-level sales management experience.
  • Proven track record in recruiting, coaching, developing and retaining top talent.
  • Proven track record of building a sales team/territory that has achieved at least double digit annual growth and exceeded sales targets in the Cyber ​​Security industry.
  • Deep understanding of the cybersecurity landscape with a focus on understanding how to leverage technology differentiators.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Possess strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and lead a sales team to achieve superior results.
  • You have an analytical mindset and are able to see gaps in the business plan as well as opportunities in the sales cycle.
  • You are tech-savvy, enthusiastic about new technologies, and up-to-date on cybersecurity trends.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate within organizations and build mutually beneficial partnerships.
  • Strong relationships have been established among key influencers within the region and the cybersecurity industry.
  • Experience selling security software solutions with a proven track record of winning competitive acquisitions.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify emerging business trends and recommend strategies to senior management
  • Ability to constructively influence and interact at the highest levels of the corporate structure, including at Board level.
  • Proven ability to drive complex sales processes from inception to negotiation to closing.
  • Highly organized and able to effectively prioritize changing responsibilities.
  • Able to work comfortably and perform well in a high-pressure environment.
  • Excellent knowledge of Salesforce and modern SaaS sales tools such as Gong, Clari, SalesLoft, and Outreach.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field.
