We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Specialist to join our team with Aerodyne Industries. The Business Specialist will: Assist the Task Order Manager with monthly and annual financial projections Create, manage and update tracking documents for labor and non-labor related functions Communicate with the business office and buyers for procurement tracking and invoicing Compile and distribute division weekly and monthly activity reports Maintain task order files and records in a well-organized manner Interact with and provide services to a wide range of scientists, engineers, and managers in a highly dynamic and occasionally time-critical environment Create and maintain Curation management metrics and publication lists Oversee division SharePoint site content, establish and maintain file structure and division documents, and be the owner of the SharePoint action item database system Produce and maintain division external communication products as required utilizing technical publications organizations Perform other duties as required Resumes, in month and year format, must be submitted with application in order to be considered for the position. Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in a related area and normally possess 3 years of work experience. Must have excellent communication, presentation, and customer interface skills Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects Excellent Excel skills to manipulate and analyze data to generate reports in a variety of formats required Working knowledge of MS Office products including Word, PowerPoint, Teams are required? Requisition Preferences: Requires two (2) years of college with courses in business administration, industrial management, or appropriate discipline, and six (6) years progressive experience, or any equivalent combination of relevant education and experience Experience working in the NASA environment is desired Experience with scheduling and scheduling software such as MS Project is a plus Experience using SmartSheets is desired Why Join Our Team? Essential Functions Work Environment Generally, an office environment, but can involve inside or outside work depending on task. Equipment and Machines Standard office equipment (PC, telephone, printer, etc.). Attendance Regular attendance in accordance with the established work schedule is critical. Ability to work outside normal schedule and adjust schedule to meet peak periods and surge requirements.
