Job Description

The Channel Sales Manager will be responsible for developing, managing, and expanding relationships with channel partners to drive sales growth and achieve revenue targets. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent relationship-building skills, a deep understanding of channel sales dynamics, and a proven track record of success in a similar role.

What you’ll do:

  • Channel Partner Management:
  • Identify, recruit, and onboard new channel partners to expand market reach.
  • Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with existing partners.
  • Provide ongoing support and resources to partners to ensure their success.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with partners to assess performance and align on strategies.
  • Sales Strategy and Execution:

  • Develop and execute channel sales strategies to achieve business objectives.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create and implement effective marketing programs and campaigns for partners.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Training and Development:

  • Train and educate partners on Everbridge’s products, services, and value proposition.
  • Ensure partners are well-equipped with the necessary tools, resources, and knowledge to effectively sell our products.
  • Market Intelligence:

  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and market opportunities.
  • Provide feedback to internal teams on market conditions, product enhancements, and customer needs.
  • Compliance and Reporting:

  • Ensure all partner activities comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on channel sales performance and forecasts to senior management.

What you’ll bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in channel sales, business development, or a related role.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth through channel partners.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and influence partners.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

The reasonably estimated salary for this role at Everbridge ranges from $75,000 – $100,000 and may also include variable compensation. Actual compensation is based on factors such as the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
