WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Provide project management support for the VP of Engineering and managing a complex calendar
- Lead and manage special projects, such as creating workflows to improve cross-functional collaboration, data tracking, or improving internal processes related to aircraft development or engineering milestones
- Assist in research and customer facing activities
- Take charge of fostering an engaging culture in our Frisco office
- Handle administrative tasks like time management for the team, recruiting reqs, travel, expense reports, etc.
- Organize meetings for the team, including design reviews and external meetings
- Assist in managing program schedules for aircraft development
- Polish slides for meetings, put together documents as needed
- Assist in recruiting activities, including LinkedIn sourcing / calling candidates / scheduling interviews
- Perform additional ad-hoc tasks to support the success and growth of both the engineering team and the wider business
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5-10+ years of experience in project coordination, program management, or executive assistant roles with a strong focus on engineering or technical teams
- Proven ability to take initiative, remain proactive, and manage complex projects or schedules with superior attention to detail
- Demonstrated experience in a fast-paced, technical environment, with the ability to collaborate effectively with engineers and C-suite executives
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience navigating both operational and strategic challenges in technical settings
- Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to ensure accountability for engineering action items
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field, such as Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- Experience supporting C-suite executives in a rapidly growing company
- Familiarity with technical project management methodologies and tools
- Experience working on engineering or product development teams
