The Community Coordinator will be a key team member in executing the gifted creator program at Merit. This role will identify creators to gift product to support new product launches, evergreen programming and launching new product review campaigns across Sephora.com and DTC. The ideal candidate possesses a high attention to detail, strong organizational capabilities, effective communication skills and has an interest in community management or marketing.

Responsibilities: 

  • Launch and own campaigns via Grin to support new product launches and evergreen programming 
  • Brainstorm campaign concepts and strategy with Manager
  • Proactively source new partners for gifted campaigns
  • Collaborate with interns on importing gifted creators into campaigns on Tribe Dynamics
  • Manage end-to-end communication with creators from campaign submission to commission payouts
  • Assist with UGC partnerships with the Social and Paid teams. Coordinator is responsible for outreach, negotiations, contracting and briefing the partner in a timely manner
  • Work closely with the Community Manager on monthly budget and targets (sourcing, placements, order goals, etc)
  • Own process for review campaigns, ensuring appropriate stakeholders are involved in pre-seeding
  • Align weekly on lever incentives with Manager. Coordinator to execute once the plan is established
  • Train and assist a group of Influencer interns
  • Lead execution of in office send outs with support from intern team 
  • Manage and update PR gifting lists 
  • Own Tribe Dynamics community management and campaign tracking  
  • Execute paid content partnerships 

Qualifications: 

  • 1-2+ years experience in the influencer marketing in beauty or fashion industries 
  • Prior experience working within a marketing role, preferably at a high growth startup
  • Concise verbal and written skills, with an ability to work collaboratively and communicate productively with a wide range of people internally and externally
  • Excellent organizational, planning, and time management skills
  • Proactiveness, along with the ability to anticipate potential challenges/ roadblocks and take independent action as appropriate
  • Good judgment and discretion
  • An ability to work independently and effectively problem solve/ research and recommend solutions
  • Demonstrated experience with creator outreach and effective time management skills
  • Interest in beauty industry, influencer marketing and up-to-date on current social media trends 

We are proud to offer a comprehensive and competitive benefits package in addition to salary compensation. The annual salary range for this role is $67,000, in addition to bonus potential, stock options, a 401(k) match, health benefits, paid time off and more. The final salary will be determined based on a variety of factors, including the individual’s experience and qualifications.
