Our team is comprised of talented individuals who are passionate about driving excellence and pushing boundaries in our company. We are looking for a Data & Analytics specialist to join the IT team and lead the implementation of a new Data Analytics Framework and Strategy. This is an operational role that needs a strategic thinker, self-starter and someone who has experience or involvement in data projects combining industrial and business data sources. This position requires working from the corporate offices located in Houston, Texas. Required Skills: 3 years’ experience in Data and Analytics Experience implementing a Data & Analytics strategy, framework, and adoption strategy. Experience consolidating Reporting across various multiple tool sets. (Excel, Power BI, SAP) Experience with business intelligence tools (Power BI) Experience with SAP HANA Expertise with the digitization and streamlining of reporting. Experience implementing Data governance policies across the enterprise. Experience establishing new data and analytics capabilities from the ground up. Expert in designing and implementing new governance frameworks, modern technologies, fit-for-purpose policies, and processes, and building and leading a high-performing team to drive the data-driven transformation. Implementing innovative data solutions and advanced analytical tools to transform raw data. Bonus/Soft Skills: Experience in Manufacturing, Mining, Oil & Gas, or Energy industry. Experience with SAP Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages, like SQL, R, Python, SAS or DAX. Understanding of machine learning algorithms and AI implementation Project management skills Excellent communication skills Ability to translate complex findings and results into a compelling narrative. Professional certifications like Certified Analytics Professional (CAP) can be advantageous. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field or equivalent working experience.
