Ingram Content Group (ICG) is hiring for an Ecommerce Sales Manager to contribute to our team in our NYC office. In this role, you will oversee the management and marketing of Ingram’s direct-to-consumer book retail site IndiePubs, with the goal of increasing publisher enrollment and consumer participation on the ecommerce platform. You will also manage all aspects of running the e-commerce site of IndiePubs, including website design, functionality, product listings, digital marketing campaigns, sales funnels, and customer experience, with the primary goal of driving online sales and maximizing revenue through strategic planning, analysis, and optimization of the digital customer journey.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or year-for-year directly related experience
- 4 years experience in e-commerce management
Preferred Skills:
- Proven experience in e-commerce management, with a focus on Shopify or similar platforms.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or other web development languages is a plus.
- Strong understanding of web design, user experience (UX), and conversion optimization.
- Knowledge of app development and custom integrations for Shopify is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with e-commerce marketing tools (email marketing, SEO, Google Analytics, social media management).
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversees all aspects of the book retail website built on Shopify, ensuring optimal functionality and user experience.
- Manages the design and layout of the website to create an attractive, easy-to-navigate, and responsive platform for customers.
- Works on creating compelling product collections, promotions, and curated lists that engage users and drive sales.
- In coordination with Digital Marketing team, develops marketing campaigns (email, social media, SEO, paid ads, etc.) to drive traffic to the site and increase sales.
- Optimizes the site for SEO to improve organic search rankings and visibility in relevant markets.
- Oversees sales initiatives, seasonal promotions, discounts, and special offers to drive revenue growth.
- Ensures a seamless and enjoyable shopping experience, focusing on customer satisfaction, site usability, and ease of checkout.
- Monitors customer reviews and feedback, collaborating with customer service and other teams to improve overall satisfaction.
- Stays up-to-date on the latest app development trends and Shopify updates to ensure the website remains competitive.
Hiring Salary Range: $87,475k – $110,601k. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. It will be determined by factors including but not limited to: the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, geographic location, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
