Just a few reasons we were named one of Houston’s Best and Brightest Companies to Work For Responsibilities / Requirements Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited college or university Licensed Professional Engineer registration required Committed to continuing education and self-development Knowledgeable in designing low-voltage and medium-voltage electrical power systems Knowledgeable of NEC, NESC, NFPA, API, NEMA, IEEE/ANSI etc. Proficient with Electrical Engineering software such as ETAP and SKM Ability to identify and define design deficiencies and provide solutions through clear and precise communication. Able to estimate future potential projects Successfully led a project I&E team in the execution of a project by delivering quality IFC documents and maintaining budget & schedule. Possess professional presence and able to work with clients and vendors to resolve issues Successful working in a multi-discipline team environment and can work on multiple fast-paced projects Create an execution strategy based on the Scope of Work & Design Basis. Maintain client relations by going to site visits, PHA/HAZOP reviews, 30%/60%/90% model reviews, Design Reviews, and Kick-off Meetings. Ability to be a self-starter that requires minimal help to execute a project Proficient with Electrical Engineering software such as ETAP and SKM Able to work with the appropriate level of supervision and accept a high degree of personal responsibility for results. Serve as a technical resource to Engineers, Designers, and other departments. Preferred Experience Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering 15 years minimum Electrical experience in Utility, Oil & Gas, and petrochemical industry Ability to manage time efficiently across multiple projects. Experience in Power System modeling software like SKM and ETAP Knowledge of Protections relays: SEL, GE Multilin Knowledge of relevant Electrical Codes and Standards including but not limited to NEC, NESC, NFPA, API, NEMA, IEEE/ANSI etc. Independently determine methods and processes Self-motivated PE License and NCEES record
