Title: Energy Analyst
Location: Remote, but must be located in the state of Michigan

ICF is seeking a seasoned candidate to provide support for our utility program team in Michigan. This individual will gain exposure to various types of energy efficiency projects and collaborate with a team of professionals to provide best practice solutions to our clients. Energy Analysts at ICF have the opportunity to apply their academic knowledge, gain exposure to major projects, and build content knowledge and consulting skills.
Working closely with program and portfolio managers, this individual will coordinate and contribute to various deliverables such as data analytics and report building such as progress reports, quality control activities and reporting, conducting research, supporting program stakeholders and participants, and researching products and enhancements.

What you will be doing:

Provide general program support and collaborate with cross-functional teams on various energy efficiency project teams.

Support program managers with data management and analysis.

Create and maintain reports, analytics and databases for internal tracking including the use of Excel, Power Query, PowerBI, and others.

Analyze data and call out trends.

Develop and update high quality client reports within required timelines.

Ensure program alignment with goals and objectives.

Work with program managers to ensure operational initiatives are implemented in a timely manner.

Demonstrate excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills.

Undertake other duties as required to support initiatives and provide direct support to program and portfolio managers, as well as division leadership, as needed.
What we need you to have (minimum qualifications):
-
Bachelor’s degree in sustainability, environmental studies, energy resources, business, public policy, or a similar field or High School Diploma and 4 years of experience in energy efficiency, project support/management, administration, data analytics, or related fields.

Willingness to travel for occasional on-site meetings.
What we would like you to have (preferred skills):

Ability to independently manage tasks while operating as part of a team.

Excellent interpersonal skills and experience managing customer or client relationships.

Familiarity with energy efficiency programs and technologies.

Strength in data analytics, including Excel formulas and functions, Power Query, and similar spreadsheet software.

Experience with data visualization software such as Power BI.

Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.

Detail-oriented mindset to fine tune and improve processes.

Sound business ethics, including the protection of proprietary and confidential data

Pay Range – There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.
The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is:
$54,063.00 – $91,907.00
