Job Description Job Description Primoris Industrial & Civil is seeking a Project Manager with a strong background in gas turbine technology to oversee and manage complex projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in project management within the energy sector, specifically with gas turbines. Primoris has a long history of consistent, reliable, power delivery and has constructed over 10GW of utility base load power (not including our equally strong renewable energy portfolio). We see tremendous growth in our non-union construction opportunities throughout the United States. RESPONSIBILITIES Project Planning and Execution : Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. Technical Oversight : Provide technical direction and management of gas turbine EPC and General Contractor construction projects. Capable of engineer of record oversight, technical and commodity procurement execution and management, and construction team leadership. Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, vendors, and internal teams. Maintain strong relationships and ensure clear communication throughout the project lifecycle. Risk Management : Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success. Quality Assurance : Ensure all project deliverables meet the highest quality standards and comply with industry regulations. Documentation and Reporting : Prepare, present, and maintain internal and external stakeholder reporting requirements and products. Team Leadership : Lead and mentor project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. Cultivate recruitment new members while performing work with clients, vendors, and other project participants. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related. 8 years’ experience in customer relationship management and previous project management experience demonstrating capabilities in implementing large, complex, high-value projects. These projects typically contain appreciable and complex design engineering content; proficient understanding of overall design, installation and operational complexities of gas turbines and their auxiliary systems. Familiar with all major project disciplines: Civil, Structural, Electrical, Controls, Mechanical, and Start-Up. Capable of planning EPC project schedules. The candidate must be able to gain unescorted access to nuclear power plants.
