Job Description Job Description Job Title: Systems Administrator IV Pay rate: $75-$82 on W2 Work Location: Houston, TX Work Setup: Hybrid Work Schedule: Onsite: Tuesday to Thursday Remote (WFH): Monday and Friday Contract: 6 months but convertible to full-time Job Description: We are seeking an expert in the FileNet environment and related components to join our team. This role involves managing software installations, system upgrades, patch applications, and resolving software issues. The position requires maintaining data integrity, monitoring system configurations, and providing technical support. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in FileNet and enterprise content management, along with a proactive approach to system optimization, performance improvements, and user support. Key Responsibilities: Administered and maintained the FileNet content management system, including Content Collector for SAP and Email, ensuring security, performance, and functionality. Apply application patches and perform system upgrades to meet business requirements. Review and enhance existing system architecture. Develop and maintain system documentation, including backup procedures and lessons learned. Monitor system performance, identifying and implementing necessary changes for efficiency. Provide technical support and guidance to the IT Enterprise Content Management Team. Collaborate with content management experts to design optimal user solutions. Resolve support tickets and requests in line with service-level agreements. Provide timely end-user support. Develop and implement backup and recovery procedures; participate in disaster recovery planning and testing. Conduct system audits to ensure compliance with security policies and regulations. Manage ECM projects, including upgrades, migrations, integrations, consolidations, and feature rollouts. Evaluate and recommend new content m anagement solutions; participate in testing new systems and patches. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. 10 years of experience as a FileNet System Administrator. Deep expertise in FileNet architecture, configuration, installation, administration, and troubleshooting. Proficient in FileNet Content Engine Platform, Content Navigator, and Content Collectors. Strong experience with IBM WebSphere Application Server and IBM Content Navigator. In-depth knowledge of SQL Server databases. Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Strong project management skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. High attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to learn new enterprise content management technologies and research emerging technologies. Self-motivated, and energetic, with a strong customer service attitude. Knowledge of containerization, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms is a plus. Additional Information: Location: Candidate must be local to Houston and willing to work on-site (Tues, Wed, Thurs) with remote options on Mon & Fri (flexible hours). Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree and be open to conversion to full-time (ideally after 6 months).
