Job Summary:  

Juvare is seeking a skilled Implementation Specialist to join our Professional Services Delivery team. This role is integral to the successful deployment of WebEOC Nexus® and WebEOC Unified Command Platform, our leading incident management software platforms.  The Implementation Specialist works directly with clients to ensure that their specific needs are met through the effective development, customization, and deployment of WebEOC workflows.

Reports to: Technical Delivery Lead 

Location: Atlanta, GA (preferred) or Remote 

Responsibilities: 

  • Product Consultation and Administration:  Work with clients to educate them on the proper use and administration of WebEOC, even providing direct configuration services of the client’s system as needed.   
  • Client Needs Analysis: Engage with clients to understand their unique needs and requirements for incident management. This involves conducting detailed discussions to gather requirements and identify how WebEOC can best support their objectives. 
  • Development and Customization: Based on client needs, develop new WebEOC workflows or modify existing ones to align with the specific operational requirements of the client. This includes customizing features, layouts, and functionalities to ensure the software meets the client’s expectations. 
  • Deployment and Configuration: Responsible for the deployment of developed workflows into the WebEOC environment. This includes importing workflows to WebEOC, configuring users, positions, groups, menus, maps, and other essential elements to ensure a seamless and functional setup for the client. 
  • Guidance and Support: Provide ongoing guidance and support to clients throughout the implementation process. This involves delivering user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure the solution meets the client’s needs and addressing any issues or modifications required. 
  • Training and Documentation: Conduct comprehensive training sessions for clients to ensure they are fully equipped to utilize the WebEOC platform effectively. Additionally, provide detailed documentation on the use and maintenance of the implemented solution. 

 Qualifications and Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred. Computer Science, Information Systems or a similar technical major or an equivalent is strongly preferred. 
  • As this position may require you to access sensitive government information, you must hold or be capable of passing an SF-85 background check and obtaining public trust clearance. 
  • 5+ years experience deploying and configuring WebEOC systems for Emergency Management clients 
  • 2+ years experience gathering requirements and business analysis 
  • 2+ years experience developing web applications using JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, CSS, JSON, XML, XSLT, and third-party libraries. 
  • 2+ years of client facing experience preferred. 
  • 1+ years’ experience in working with Scrum/Kanban teams. 
  • Familiarity with web security, OWASP preferred. 
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, or a similar agile project management tool. 
  • Experience in public sector/Federal IT compliance preferred. 
  • Emergency management or operational workflow experience preferred but not essential. 

Skills/ Knowledge Requirements:  

  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills. 
  • Excellent understanding of HTML5, JavaScript, CSS and common web programming skills. 
  • Familiarity with Material Design and/or Bootstrap. 
  • Familiarity with RESTful services and APIs. 
  • Superior ability to multi-task and meet changing deadlines. 
  • Ability and willingness to travel to client or internal company sites when appropriate and legally permitted.
