Job Description Job Description We are seeking an Industrial Engineer to become a part of our team You will develop strategies to improve production efficiency and reduce manufacturing cost. Responsibilities: Implement production projects to improve quality and efficiency Conduct labor and material cost analysis Identify critical points within the production process, for quality control checks Create assembly and system flow charts, for manufacturing processes Adhere to all safety policies and procedures Working with internal Piping Technology and Products organizations to help manage purchasing and outsourcing Translate customer and internal drawings to a list of parts and overall manufacturing plan Managing the manufacturing schedule including outsourcing of some parts and purchases of raw material Qualifications: Previous experience in industrial engineering or other related fields Familiarity with technical drawings and blueprints Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills Deadline and detail-oriented AutoCAD highly desirable Familiarity with technical drawings depicting various structural steel shapes Company Description In business since 1978, Piping Technology & Products, Inc. and its wholly owned subsidiaries (U.S. Bellows, Inc., Sweco Fab, Inc., Pipe Shields, Inc., and Anchor Darling, Ent.) offer a wide range of engineered products and services for various industries and applications.
