You have prior relevant full-time advertising and/or Media experience (5+ years), with a solid grasp of media planning duties and processes. You have experience utilizing MediaTools, DDS, Clear Decisions/MRI and/or other media planning software and media research programs. An Excel pro, you are comfortable with pivot tables, charts, and other formulas to translate data into well-articulated ideas. You can apply insights from campaign results, media research, consumer behavior and other indicators to develop media strategy recommendations. You can develop a point of view and have an opinion on media concepts.
The Media Supervisor for the West Region on the Nissan team can learn quickly, perform tasks accurately and in a timely manner. You a vital part of a team that works together to seamlessly deliver innovative, creative and data driven marketing plans for Nissan.
What you’ll do
- Develop solutions to moderately complex problems
- Effectively interact with Nissan Regional marketing staff, internal regional account team and media strategy team
- Develop and implement media campaigns including digital, video, audio, and OOH from pre-planning stages to post-campaign reporting
- Develop and present recommendations, evaluations, POVs and media analyses to Business Leadership and ultimately clients
- Organize, implement and control the day-to-day media planning development process including coordination with Media Planner and Associate Planner
- Work with internal digital media team to integrate digital objectives and strategies into overall plans
- Work with the OMD buying team, providing buying specifications, monitor development and review media buys and post-buy analyses
- Teach and mentor Media Planner and Associate Planner providing one-on-one communications and training sessions to help develop and grow skill sets
- Manage the development of media plans for 10-13 markets in the West Region
- Present media recommendations to local Nissan staff (Regional clients, dealers, etc.) and travel to markets for presentations, as needed.

Location:
Given the nature of our Media team and the client assigned to this role, we are only considering candidates that currently live in or wish to relocate to Los Angeles, in the near future (first 60 days of employment).
The annual salary range for this role is $65,000 – $90,000 and may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic location and experience. Other compensation includes relocation costs, if applicable.
