Job Description Job Description Join Our Growing Family Practice in SW Houston We are an established and thriving family practice clinic seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Office Manager. If you have a strong background in practice management and possess energetic leadership qualities, we want to hear from you About the Role: As the Assistant Office Manager, you will oversee our daily operations while directly reporting to the Practice Manager. We seek a candidate who exemplifies leadership, demonstrates exceptional communication skills, and shows strong management abilities. Your organizational skills and attention to detail will be crucial as you collaborate with our team to provide outstanding patient care. Key Responsibilities: · Support the Practice Manager in daily clinic operations of an established Family Medicine clinic with six practitioners and over 20 employees. · Uphold and promote our corporate values with a “whatever it takes” attitude. · Address real-time issues, including customer service inquiries, material requisitions, and patient complaints. · Assist with inventory management, scheduling, and attendance reporting. · Ensure top-quality communication among patients, doctors, and staff, fostering a respectful environment. · Understand Clinical Quality Measures, close care gaps, and demonstrate familiarity with attestation forms. What We’re Looking For: · A degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. · At least 4 years of experience in the medical industry. · Proficiency in business and computer skills relevant to patient and staff interactions. · Ability to establish credibility and build positive relationships with diverse individuals. · Strong skills in prioritizing tasks, meeting deadlines, and balancing the needs of others. · Excellent planning, time management, and organizational skills to effectively manage multiple responsibilities. · Prior supervisory experience or strong interest in developing people management skills. · Familiarity with Eclinical Works or other electronic medical records systems.
