Job Description Job Description Advanced Practice house calls Houston, TX, USA Compensation $100 to $125 per patient visit Employment Type Contractor Why Work Here? “Excellent compensation, flexible scheduling, great clinical support.” We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to become a part of our team You will focus on providing high-quality patient care as part of a healthcare team. The Job starts as a PART-TIME position and as the patient load increases, you have the option to build toward a full-time schedule. Most NPs/PAs have another job and this gives them a chance to earn an additional income and to try this job to see if it is a good fit for you. Flexible scheduling You provide the days you are available and we will schedule your patients for those days. A Spanish speaking candidate is a plus, A background in case management or home health beneficial. The job involves home visits to patients within 50 miles of your residence. We try to group patients together to maximize efficiency of your route and minimize drive times. We also try to assign patients close to where you live when possible. You do not have to be on call outside of business hours. This is an independent contractor/1099 position. It begins as part-time and your patient load will increase over time. The typical full-time patient load can reach 100-120 visits/month with time. You control your own schedule and work on the days you are available. You will receive some training before starting and will have full clinical support available. You will be able to practice to the full extent of your scope as an advanced practice provider and gain experience as you go. New graduates are welcome to apply. All specialties are needed except pediatrics as we do not see pediatric patients. Please provide your address as this helps us schedule patients in your area. Responsibilities: Diagnose and treat acute, episodic or chronic illnesses Prescribe all necessary medications and treatments Perform comprehensive physical examinations of patients Develop and implement patient management policies and procedures Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities Communicate with collaborating physician or specialist regarding patient care Qualifications: Previous experience in nursing or other medical fields Ability to build rapport with patients Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong leadership qualities Reimbursement: $125 for new patient visits $100 for established/follow up patient visits Additional pay for some patient-related work done at home (ex.
