Job Description

I can succeed as an “Order Management Fund Lead Analyst”

As an Order Management Fund Lead Analyst, you will work directly and closely with the Principal Investment Officer (PIO) of a strategy (reference fund and vehicles). You are responsible for the end-to-end oversight of the strategy by supporting the investment decision-making process and delivering the Capital System while ensuring the strategy remains in compliance and alignment with prospectus and internal guidelines. The Fund Lead is the connector between the strategy/PIO and all supporting partners to ensure the reference fund and vehicles are all functioning in harmony through clear and concise knowledge sharing and communication. You will be responsible for executing the restructuring of assets, tax management monitoring, eligibility monitoring and maintenance, and helping to mitigate risk and increase operational efficiency for the strategy. You apply experience and good judgment to serve as a subject matter expert to partner and collaborate with the PIO and relevant stakeholders on all strategy matters. You will work in a fast-paced environment, performing time-sensitive analysis, to advise and direct the PIO and other stakeholders on the pro-active and corrective actions needed to resolve issues involving high-value transactions. You may also participate in department-wide or strategic initiatives.

  • You have underlying investment operations experience and an understanding of Capital systems and mechanics.
  • You have outstanding attention to detail and your accuracy is consistent and dependable.
  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills and can effectively communicate with a diverse group of associates, including investment group professionals, and business leaders.
  • You are action-oriented with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to tackle complex business problems.
  • You make sound and timely decisions that keep the organization moving forward.
  • You have an exceptional understanding of risk management and overall control environment.
  • You have high learning agility and can adapt to new technology quickly. Experience with order management systems like Charles River (CRD) is a plus. Tableau and Alteryx are a plus.
  • You are a progressive thinker with a passion for process improvement and can leverage technology to achieve operational scale.
  • You demonstrate a willingness to embrace challenges, learn from feedback, and continuously seek opportunities for professional development and improvement.
  • You have a bachelor’s degree and have worked within the investment management industry for a few years.

San Francisco Base Salary Range: $124,606-$199,370

Los Angeles Base Salary Range: $112,995-$180,792

In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital’s annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
