Why join Team iHeart?

  • iHeartMedia, the #1 audio company in America, reaches 90% of Americans monthly and is the largest podcast publisher.

  • iHeartMedia is home to trusted on-air personalities like Ryan Seacrest, Angela Yee, and Charlamagne Tha God, and podcast influencers, produces well-known local and national branded live music events, and is the #1 streaming radio service in America.

  • Our social media footprint is 7 times larger than the next largest audio service, and we have the only complete audio ad technology stack in the industry.

  • Serving all of our communities across America is at the core of what we do. To learn more about our impact, philanthropic efforts, and initiatives, check out our Community page here.

  • Work with iconic Los Angeles Radio and Digital brands like KOST 103.5, KFI AM 640, 104.3 MYfm, 102.7 KIIS-FM, ALT 98.7, Real 92.3, AM 570 LA Sports and The Patriot AM 1150.

What you’ll do

As an Outside Account Executive at iHeartMedia in Los Angeles, you’ll have access to innovative marketing tools across 160 markets, you’ll learn the ins and outs of our Broadcast + Digital Marketing Products, identify and develop new business opportunities through in-person meetings with clients and research, and cultivate existing business using our full suite of products. You’ll collaborate with internal partners to drive revenue, create effective marketing campaigns, and deliver compelling sales presentations.

What you’ll bring

You should be self-motivated (a very “go-getter” attitude!), have excellent relationship-building and problem-solving skills, and be able to communicate persuasively. You should be able to plan, organize, and multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Digital/Media Sales and Salesforce experience are a plus, but not required. A valid driver’s license and auto insurance are required, as is a High School Diploma (College Degree preferred). You should also be skilled in Microsoft Office and social networking platforms.

What you’ll get

You’ll have the opportunity for uncapped commission, the potential to be recognized in our annual iHeart CEO’s Club and iHeartMedia President’s Club programs (imagine your name on a billboard in Times Square…), and access to competitive benefits. You’ll also have access to company-paid mental health and financial education resources, learning and development resources, and career navigation support. Additional perks include pet (they’re part of the family!), disaster, and legal insurance, student loan refinancing, and discounts on products.

Envision your first 30 days!

  • Week 1: Complete our onboarding journey for a great understanding of our company, and job-specific training, while spending meaningful time with your team.

  • Week 2: Spend more time with your manager to onboard in your role and ensure you are aligned on work and communication styles, priorities, and any other expectations.

  • Week 3: Start “owning” your role and leaning into the real day-to-day, of course with your manager’s support and advocacy!

  • Week 4: Prioritize a 30-day check-in to see what else you might need to be most successful in your new role.

Not sure if you meet all the requirements? We encourage you to apply anyway!
