Responsibilities: Conduct power system studies, including load flow, short circuit, voltage drop, harmonic, and arc flash hazard analysis as well as protective device coordination. Develop and implement electrical distribution system designs, ensuring they meet safety and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to understand project requirements and provide technical expertise and solutions. Perform power quality assessments and troubleshoot power system issues as needed. Assist in the development of proposals, feasibility studies, and project reports. Stay up to date with the latest advancements in power systems engineering and actively contribute to the team’s knowledge base. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution. 1-5 years of experience in power systems engineering or electrical engineering. Strong knowledge of power system studies, including load flow, short circuit, and voltage drop analysis. Familiarity with electrical distribution systems and relevant industry standards. Proficiency and experience with power system analysis software such as SKM, ETAP, PSS/E, or similar tools. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience with commercial or industrial short circuit, device coordination and arch flash studies.
