Job ID: 670846BR Date posted: Aug. 01, 2024 Program: JASSM/LRASM Description: This position is to provide Procurement Engineering Support to the JASSM/LRASM Supply Chain in the following areas: 1) Supplier Affordability Projects – Lead supply chain personnel in the successful execution of supplier affordability projects. Represent Global Supply Chain department in all program level affordability meetings, present to upper leadership on affordability project status. Responsible for maintaining all affordability metrics. Drive all supplier related affordability projects through execution to closure. 2) Strategic Second Sourcing Efforts (Supply Chain Resiliency) Lead second sourcing development efforts for all new suppliers in support of the Enterprise Operations Supply Chain Resiliency effort 3) Supplier Recovery Efforts – provide onsite support during supplier failure investigations. Support Failure Review Boards (FRBs) and Failure Investigation Boards (FIBs). Work closely with Supplier and JASSM/LRASM Customers to drive failure investigations to quick closure. Anticipate 50% travel on average. Basic Qualifications: – Demonstrate problem solving skills – Business acumen and ability to make business based decisions – Self-motivated, demonstrated sense of urgency, ownership of tasks and accountable – Work independently and in a team environment, demonstrated ability to lead a team – Detail and Teamwork oriented with demonstrated organizational skills; – Strong interpersonal skills – Working knowledge of standard contract types – Demonstrated communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation) – Able to travel 50% of time – Proficient computer skills including Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and specialized application software associated with the Procurement function (such as P2P) – Must be able to obtain Secret Clearance Desired Skills: – Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional IPTs and/or Supplier Management Teams – Leadership skills displaying attributes of Full Spectrum Leadership – Production Operations Experience, Manufacturing background – shop floor experience preferred – Lean / Six Sigma Green or Black Belt – Able to Lead VSM, Kaizen or other Lean Events at Suppliers – Experience with Lean Manufacturing Principles – Experience in design for manufacturing/assembly or design to cost Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
