You will support growth and create value by leading a team of procurement operations managers and specialists for the US Business Unit and will serve as the single point of contact in procurement for local business leaders.
In this role, you will enable agility by managing interactions between business unit stakeholders at the local level, collaborate with global and regional spend areas (for Raw & Pack and Indirect Materials & Services), manufacturing, quality, supply chain and commercial business stakeholders and, suppliers to both secure the production continuity and the implementation of regional or global projects within a controlled administrative environment.
How you will contribute
As the single point of contact for key stakeholders, you will support the interactions between business units or spend areas, business unit stakeholders and specific project teams. In addition, you will deliver on the procure to pay process through effective management of procurement specialists and an active collaboration with a hands on mindset, take the lead in problem solving for supply and service issues, own the full sourcing activity for a local spend in partnership with regional sourcing teams, ensure regulatory compliance for all processes in scope, and manage local implementation of regional or global projects and agreements, including service delivery, productivity and cash conversion cycle improvement.

What you need to know about this position:
This position will:
- Manage a group of procurement managers and specialists to implement the support business needs and link it to the procurement agenda.
- Provide support to ensure production and service continuity.
- Develop and execute productivity and business continuity initiatives.
- Manage the business continuity program (BCP).
- Manage the relationship with internal stake holders to understand needs, define and understand constrains and manage relationships with suppliers to resolve issues, manage risk (supply, quality, price), identify value creating opportunities and progress / implement agreed initiatives,
- Manage the Source To Pay (STP) process.
- Support QA / Corporate Quality in all quality and audit related issues / requirements.
- Ensure all the operations under his area of responsibility are operating under an environment of administrative control according to policies, procedures and Mondelēz business and ethical standards.
- Have a strategic mind that allows him/her to tackle problems on a structured-systematic way to define desired future state and develop a glide path to deliver.
Main responsibilities:
- Source to PAY (from materials/services ordering to suppliers payment)
- Stakeholder management and Procurement Single Point of Contact.
- Supply chain Issues resolution
- Team development
- Development and tracking of KPI’s (quality, service, performance).
- Develop, enable, and execute a Strategic agenda to improve results.
- Productivity (savings) development and execution
- Quality Notifications management and issues resolution (zero-defect mindset development)
- Support of the Integrated Lean Six Sigma program at plants
- BCP (Business Continuity Plan) development
- Accounts payable issues resolution
- External Manufacturers support.

Education / Certifications:
Bachelor’s in engineering or business administration.
Master’s degree and Yellow belt (or higher) on Six Sigma are a plus.
Job specific requirements:
10+ years of relevant supply chain and Procurement experience. Materials planning, Strategic sourcing and negotiation preferable. Project Management and communication. Stakeholder influencing and supplier relationship management. Data analytics is a plus. Proven record of experience and mastery within Supply Chain and/or Procurement.
Languages. Bilingual English Spanish. Being English the native language
System and other requirements:
- ERP Systems (SAP, COUPA, ORACLE, ZYCUS, TUNGSTEN, etc)
- MS OFFICE (Advanced Level)
Travel requirements: Domestic travel are expected for role
Work schedule: Mon-Fri. This is an ON-SITE job
Compensation: The anticipated base salary range for this position is from $133,900 to $184,150; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. The salary range may vary based on geographic location.
In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for over achievement based on performance and company results.
