We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Application Administrator specializing in Oracle Cloud ERP to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a key part in optimizing and ensuring the smooth operation of our Oracle Cloud ERP system, driving its full potential to support and enhance our business processes. This role will involve the architect, plan, design, and implement technology delivery processes, including change management, disaster recovery, issue management, and version control. The senior role is expected to expand skills beyond Oracle, applying business acumen and technical knowledge to support a range of business areas and applications. Deliver top-tier customer service, ensuring smooth collaboration across departments and resolving issues promptly. Engage with all levels of the organization, from technical staff to executive leadership, ensuring clear, concise, and impactful communication. Essential Functions Oracle Fusion ERP Management: Oversee all aspects of the Oracle Fusion ERP system, including installation, configuration, ongoing maintenance, and performance tuning. Stay current with Oracle Fusion ERP updates and developments to ensure optimal system utilization. System Performance & Optimization: Continuously monitor system performance, identifying areas for improvement. Implement best practices to enhance efficiency, reliability, and overall system performance. Business Collaboration & Customization: Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand business needs and customize Oracle Fusion ERP solutions accordingly. Ensure smooth integration with other systems and applications, aligning technology with business objectives. Leadership in IT Meetings: Actively engage in IT business meetings, playing a key role in decision-making and guiding discussions to ensure technology solutions meet business goals. Application Development & Support: Lead the development, maintenance, and support of critical business applications, including bug fixes, patches, enhancements, and process improvements. Ensure all changes align with the Change Control Policy and SDLC methodology. Vendor & Service Management: Manage relationships with vendors for outsourced functions, managed services, maintenance agreements, and service contracts. Ensure vendors meet service level agreements and deliver quality support. Project & Team Leadership: May lead project-based work or day-to-day support tasks, ensuring the successful completion of IT projects and operational initiatives. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with IT leads, managers, and directors on various projects, such as the implementation of business application software. Foster strong communication and cooperation across teams. Procurement & Budgeting Support: May assist with IT procurement processes, invoice tracking, and managing project and operational expense budgets, ensuring alignment with department goals. Metric Development & Support: Assist in the development and tracking of IT departmental metrics as needed to ensure continuous improvement in service delivery and performance. IT Compliance & Risk Management: Demonstrate a strong understanding of IT controls, policies, and procedures, ensuring compliance and minimizing risk. Implement strategies that both mitigate risk and add value to the business. Flexible Work Schedule: Be available to work after hours, including weekends and holidays, when necessary to support business-critical operations. Adaptability: Embrace evolving responsibilities as company and departmental needs change. Occasional travel may be required. Requirements Experience and Special Knowledge Extensive IT Experience: A minimum of 10 years of experience in IT, with at least 5 years of hands-on experience working with Oracle Cloud ERP. Business Acumen: Strong understanding of business operations, with expertise in one or more of the following areas: finance, accounting, tax, or procurement. Oracle Fusion ERP Expertise: Proven experience as an Application Administrator, specializing in Oracle Fusion ERP. Extensive knowledge of Oracle Fusion architecture, modules, reporting, and best practices. Technical Proficiency: Skilled in system troubleshooting, performance optimization, and security management within the Oracle Cloud ERP environment. Collaboration & Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders. Preferred Certifications & Experience: Oracle Cloud ERP certification is highly desirable. Experience with Oracle Cloud ERP and Oracle Cloud EPM is a plus. Education A bachelor’s degree in technology or business equivalent in experience and training in lieu of a degree. Oracle Fusion certified (preferred). Specific Skills Comprehensive Oracle Cloud ERP Knowledge: Extensive experience with Oracle Cloud ERP modules, including Financials, Procurement, Analytics, EPM, and other relevant modules based on organizational needs. Database & SQL Expertise: Strong understanding of database management principles and proficiency in SQL, essential for supporting the data-driven aspects of ERP systems. Security & Compliance: Solid grasp of security best practices and compliance standards relevant to ERP systems, such as SOX and industry-specific regulations, ensuring systems remain secure and compliant. System Integration: In-depth knowledge of integrating Oracle Cloud ERP with other systems and applications (e.g., CRM, third-party tools) to ensure seamless data flow across the organization. Problem-solving & Troubleshooting: Excellent problem-solving skills, capable of efficiently diagnosing and resolving system issues, analyzing logs, identifying errors, and implementing effective solutions. Performance Optimization: Ability to monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and make adjustments to ensure optimal resource utilization and system efficiency. Patch & Release Management: Experience managing system patches, updates, and quarterly releases to ensure the ERP system remains secure, stable, and up to date. Backup & Recovery: Proven ability to implement and maintain robust backup and recovery procedures, safeguarding critical data and ensuring business continuity. Change Management: Skilled in managing ERP system changes, communicating effectively with stakeholders, and ensuring updates cause minimal disruption to business operations. Project Management: Familiarity with project management methodologies, enabling successful leadership or participation in ERP-related projects such as system enhancements, upgrades, or migrations. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures to support ongoing system management and future enhancements. Continuous Learning & Development: Stay current with Oracle Cloud ERP updates, industry trends, and best practices through continuous learning, training, and certification.
